Mossend Yard — Network Rail's principal freight yard in the Central Belt of Scotland, near Bellshill in North Lanarkshire. Anglo-Scottish intermodal hub and the Scottish end of the WCML container corridor; site of the forthcoming Mossend International Railfreight Park (MIRP).

Mossend Yard is the principal freight yard in Scotland’s Central Belt, sitting astride the West Coast Main Line near Bellshill. It functions as a marshalling and exchange point for Anglo-Scottish intermodal flows and is the Scottish terminus for several daily container services from the Haven ports and the West Midlands. Adjacent development of the Mossend International Railfreight Park (MIRP) by PD Stirling will add dedicated intermodal capacity on the same complex.
